TROUP COUNTY

PARKS & RECREATION

About Us

Welcome to the Troup County Parks & Recreation website.

As Director of the Troup County Parks and Recreation Department, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Parks and Recreation family. Our Mission is to continually enhance the quality of life by providing Troup County and the surrounding areas with the best recreational opportunities under the sun through People and Parks. Our Vision is to partner with our citizens to provide high quality, broad based parks, facilities, programs and services creating a sense of community, enabling a safe and a secure environment, and enhancing Troup County's quality of life. The Commission and Staff consider it vital that our programs and facilities are utilized and maintained. Without the continuous support an assistance of the Troup County Board of Commissioners, Mayor's Office, LaGrange City Council, West Point City Council, Hogansville City Council, Recreation Commission, Staff and our Volunteers, we would not be able to accomplish our delivery of services. We value our partners in the community, foundations, community based organizations, neighboring municipalities, and our corporate sponsors. These connections have enabled out department to be creative in service delivery and allowed us to maximize our resources. Our services impact the lives of children, youth, adults, seniors, and people with disabilities in exceptional ways. We consider it an honor to be able to contribute to an improved quality of life for our entire county. Thank you for the community support and willingness to volunteer each year. We truly couldn't do it without you.
